Celebrating One Year!
I have been writing since I was a kid. It wasn’t stories or experience that I wrote initially rather I used to converse through writing as I have always been shy to share verbally. Conveying my emotion through writing has always been my preference. I wonder it was for people like me, free messages, or Whatsapp was invented. I remember the first story that I wrote was at the age of 12 or 13. The story was based on the life of my parents. It wasn’t so great grammatically but it had all sorts of emotions. Everyone who read that story didn’t say how good or bad it was. They just smiled looking at me with tears in their eyes. Sooner, I realized it wasn’t the writing that had such effect but the emotions and the intent behind it.
Years later, I never thought one day I would be starting my own blog. I usually penned down my experience and emotions whenever I felt I wanted to share. I never wrote with the intent that people will read it. It was just for me. It made me relax and calm my mind. On one fine evening, a friend of mine read it and suggested that I should start my own blog. I was against it initially. I wondered why people would read it. There are millions of writers out there. Why one would spend their time reading mine?
I wasn’t confident enough during that time as I was going through so much. Both professionally and personally I wasn’t great and hence, I always hesitated and starting something new was a challenge. Also, I was not a techno-savvy person. Starting my own website turned out to be a huge challenge. However, with the help of my friend I was able to launch my own website. On this day (29th May) last year, I posted my first blog “The Beginner”. I wasn’t expecting anyone to read it. I thought if nobody reads it then at least there would be two permanent readers of my blog – my friend and I. But to my surprise, there were readers more than I expected. And my second post connected with many. I was thanked personally for writing “Second Time”.
For me as a writer, it was a great accomplishment. The ability to connect with readers is one of my greatest achievements. I want to thank all of my readers, my friends, and my family who supported me and motivated me in both my good and bad times. And through my blog, I want to do the same. I want to connect with people and motivate them as well. I would like to celebrate our one year bond and I hope our bond gets stronger in the upcoming years. Thank you all my existing and potential readers. This celebration is nothing without you.
Thank You and Congratulations!

Thank you so much, Amar!
You have always been a great reader and motivator.
Very well written content which brings new thought and way of thinking. In today’s world, journalism doesn’t exist anymore and whatever is there is on the path of appeasement. Reading Manasi’s blog brings new light and enlightens. Worth readying and subscribing.
Thank you so much.
Something like this coming from you calls for a true celebration. It feels like I am on cloud nine after reading this.
