2020, it is!
The match is going to begin in a couple of days. Yes, we are not only going to be the players but also the cheerleaders, the match-fixers, the supporters and what not. Enough of supporting the cricketers while they play the 2020 match, it’s our time to hit sixes in the stadium (life). The year 2019 is going to wrap up soon. Every year has always brought good or bad moments. Sometimes, it can be bad throughout the year. But it passes! That’s the good thing but some emotions stay lifelong which can never be replaced and that emptiness always stays.
My year started by adding an achievement in my academic as well as career graph which will always stay with me and which I am really proud of. It’s not the end though. I need to move forward adding more. My personal life is awesome. Thanks to my friends and family who always stood by me and always supported my choices, my dreams, my ambition and I know they will continue to do so. Professionally, I am still unstable. Though I am working but the sense of satisfaction has not yet been found. There is a lack. Getting a job does not mean you are stable or there can’t be any issue until you can pay your bills. I often come across people asking me about my professional life. Whatever I say, they think I have a perfect job but it’s a myth. The office providing you with facilities doesn’t mean it’s perfect. The job satisfaction and work culture plays a prominent role. This is what people need to understand. Here, the people include not only those we come across but with whom we are working. However, I don’t regret relocating because I moved out of my comfort zone which was necessary for that hour and secondly, I am able to clearly compare the work culture of two different cities. As I have always said the experience matters; good or bad, it matters!
Come New Year, I am not having any resolutions but will keep one thing in mind no matter what I will keep challenging myself for better tomorrow. I am not letting anyone hold me back. The motivation of not letting anyone to lead your life can come from day to day experience. At home, I watch my sister doing so every day. She loves cooking. She starts from scratch and does everything herself till the end. She doesn’t like anyone helping her in the course because it’s her dish and she wants it to be perfect as per her. The same is life. We definitely want our life to be perfect according to us, so how can we let anyone else control it or give direction to it. Everyone has their own meaning to perfection. If you don’t like the situation you are in, it’s time to move out. Remember, nobody is going to rescue you but you. It’s your life, have control.
I wish everyone has a great year ahead. I hope everyone receives what they wish for. Keep shining and keep moving. Life is yours, enjoy the way you want.
Happy New Year!
